This blog is dedicated to the sublime instruments called nose flutes and which produce the most divine sound ever. We have chosen to discard all the native models from S. Pacific and Asia, for they need fingering to be played. We'll concentrate on "buccal cavity driven" nose flutes : the well patented and trademarked metal or plastic ones, plus, by a condemnable indulgence, some wooden craft or home-made productions.

The worst nose flute video ?

Is this the worst nose flute video? Is it possible to be more out of tune? Well, we may also suspect Gymnocephalus ("naked head") play at worst on purpose... and if it is the case, he deserves all our congratulations, since it is very difficult to play a such long time totally out of tune on purpose. Video : Locomotive Breath

Fake vintage video (kinda Super8 effect) showibng Locomotive Breath, performed at the nose flute by Holger "Commander" Treven, with guitars. For those who wonder how it could be possible to play the guitar while playing a non-hand-free nose flute... well, I suppose the guitar that is playing is not the one held by the "Commander".
