This blog is dedicated to the sublime instruments called nose flutes and which produce the most divine sound ever. We have chosen to discard all the native models from S. Pacific and Asia, for they need fingering to be played. We'll concentrate on "buccal cavity driven" nose flutes : the well patented and trademarked metal or plastic ones, plus, by a condemnable indulgence, some wooden craft or home-made productions.

Great Mexican TV Nose Flute Video

Here is a great (and long: 6'23"!) video of a program made by and broadcasted on the Mexican television channel TV Azteca. The program is called Venga la alegría ("Come Joy!") and Mrs. Tábata Jalil presents a nose flute, then visits a nose flute maker and musician. You even have the opportunity to see the Nosy Diva during... 2 seconds!
Many thanks to Herman Vandecauter who signaled this video to us.
